Shalom and welcome to a new Zman on Webyeshiva. This zman we will explore some of the teachings and context of the prophecies of our prophets, both from a cultural, technical and kabbalistic perspective. Can any two men practice the same spiritual technique and achieve similar results? Why does each prophet introduce his prophecy differently? What are the subtleties of language that key us into the type or level of each prophecy? How much does the prophet’s life, activities and behavior shape his prophetic experience? How do such teachings help us get closer to Hashem and true service?
