All forms of benefit from chametz are prohibited on Pesach. This means that you cannot feed your pets or farm animals chametz But most commercial pet food is inedible for humans. Is such pet food also prohibited on Pesach? Join Rabbi Dovid Fink as he surveys the opinions of the leading posekim.

In this shi‘ur, we will survey the opinions of the leading posekim who require that pet food be entirely free of hamets and those posekim who permit feeding animals food containing hamets as long as that food is unfit for human consumption.
