The Seder 2025: Yachatz: The Seder 2025: Yachatz
Hello Everyone,
I think that most of us ( if not all of us) are familiar with the little song that describes the Seder Pesach: “קדש , ורחץ, כרפס יחץ…” So it is important to understand that not everyone would agree with the lyrics of this song. For example, the Rambam , at his Seder Pesach, performed יחץ later in the Seder. he says that יחץ is to be done before we say “.המוציא”
So today we will learn about יחץ. Why do we break the מצה?
I hope that the little bit of knowledge that we will acquire this evening will encourage us to study the Seder Pesach and so our Seder will be more meaningful בעזרת השם
