Hello Everyone,
When I chose this title for today’s session, “Eating and Drinking on Purim, The Kedushat Levi” I could not imagine that the war against Hamas would still be going on and that our hostages would not be returned to their families.
So instead of focusing on the קדושת לוי who certainly is worthy of a shiur of his own, we will discuss the explanations of various Chasidic teachers for the mitzvah to be inebriated on Purim.
I look forward to meeting with you.
Rabbi Dr. Stuart Fischman graduated from Yeshiva University in 1980 and the dental school of Columbia University in 1985. In 1989 he began studying and teaching at Yeshivat Hamivtar and now studies and teaches at Yeshivat Machanaim in Efrat. He has rabbinic ordination from Rav Zalman Nechemia Goldberg.
