From Shaul to Esther: A Great Tikkun

We begin tonight’s series building an appreciation of “intertextuality in Tanach.” This understanding that often the text can be in dialogue with itself opens a whole new appreciation for every word in Tanach and a deep connection in different stories. Tonight we will be introduced to the first king of the Jewish people-Shaul. As we see his character traits that him great it will also help us appreciate what will go wrong on his journey. And we will start to be able to see his similarities to Esther, centuries later, but from the same family!
