In tomorrow’s class we will discuss the קרבן שלמים. This particular class of sacrifices is often translated as “peace offerings” which is not horribly inaccurate.
There are two types of “peace offering.” One is entirely voluntary and the other is brought as thanks to Hashem. This latter type is a קרבן תודה. We will discuss both types tomorrow.
