In the previous shiur, we finished learning the long Tosafot on the first mishna of the masechet, on Daf 2a, and saw how Tosafot interprets our gemara on Daf 6a in accordance with his understanding of the halacha in the mishna.
In this shiur, we are now going to move on to the last part of the sugya at the bottom of Avodah Zarah 6a , which continues on the top of Daf 6b, which clarifies the boundaries of the case(s) for which applies the reason given by the gemara that the prohibition of לשאת ולתת is because of the Torah prohibition לפני עוור לא תתן מכשול. Time allowing, we will begin a new sugya, which examines what is the status of goods that were in fact exchanged, in violation of the mishna.
