Shalom. Last week we began with Torah LM 109 about the ‘vapors’ on the land of good and evid, and how these vapors come to a person, and teach us one of the great lessons of Teshuva is that there is always hope.
Tonight we will focus on the famous dictum of the Talmiud that Mashiach will smell and judge (moreach v-dahn) who is honest or truthful or not in legal and personal cases.
This power of scent, to smell evil or goodness is a deep, deep mystery. And yet, even in the common culture there is a very common phrase, “Somethinjg smells fishy.” What is this based on? How do we learn from it? What does Rebbe Nachman say about the powers of Mashiach. Tonight we will open those doors of perception.
Look forward to seeing you all,
Avraham Shira
