Hello Everyone,
Every person who has studied the Talmud knows that it often encourages certain practices by making promises of a great reward for engaging in them. What is also well known is that these promises rarely appear in the code of law known as Shulchan Aruch. One rare execption to this reticence3 is the practice of saying the morning prayers at sunrise- a practice known as “ותיקין”
In these two sessions we will discuss both the practice and the promises.
