Tattling or spilling the beans is prohibited under the rubric of “He who tattles is a fool (Proverbs 10:18)”.
Even telling the truth is prohibited. For example, merely saying “so-and-so has passed away” is prohibited.
All this calls for analysis. In this class, we will survey the primary sources with an eye to establishing exactly what is prohibited and why.
