Hello Everyone,
The most joyous celebration, of all the celebrations which took place in the Temple was the celebration surrounding the drawing of the water for the water libation of Sukkot. This libation is called ניסוך המים. It was only done on Sukkot. And surrounding this libation there was celebration known as שמחת בית השואבה.
This celebration is what we will discuss this evening.
