Purim is the “Holiday of Joy.” It is the only holiday in which there is a mitzvah to get drunk. It would come as no surprise that the Chasidic teachers have written about the joy associated with Purim. In these two sessions we will talk about the Purim teachings of perhaps the most beloved of all Chasidic teachers, Rabbi Levi-Yitzchak of Berditchev .
