Shalom. Tonight’s Meditation on the Alef Beit will focus on the idea of miracles as embodied in the letters ‘nun’ and ‘samech’ and their relationship to the ‘ayin’ or eye, especially the inner eye, or third eye of the intellect in Kaballah. This teaching is essential for the meditative practices that our Sages describe as leading to Divine Inspiration, which has many many levels. We should prepare ourselves properly before such meditations, with prayers for purity, an immersion or extended shower in which we consciously remove the outer ‘selves’ that attach us to this world.
