The Hagadah of Pesach opens with the paragraph “הא לחמא עניא” When you look on the Internet (since libraries are so 20th century) you can find two translations of the words “.לחמא עניא” Some translations say ,”This is the bread of poverty” while others say “This is the bread of affliction.’
This bread, the מצה,contains many messages. Today we will see the message that the Maharal of Prague found in the matzah.
