Midrash Eicha: Road to Recovery

When it comes to the events that led up to and occurred on Tisha B’Av, one of the messages we often come away with is hope in the future. After all, after such massive destruction and loss of life, the Jewish People are still here today. However, we don’t have to look far from the our ancient texts to realize that hope in the future was happening in the moment. Join Rabbi Yehoshua Geller as he explores some of the Midrashim of Eicha and how even in the lowest moments of our national history our sages saw a bright future for the Jewish People.
Classes this Tisha B’Av are dedicated in the memory of Nachman ben Gedaliya HaCohen and Miriam bat Avraham by their families.
