Techelet

For centuries, Jews wore tzitzit without the techelet thread commanded by the Torah. Join Rabbi Dr. Stuart Fischman as he explores the mystery of this lost mitzvah: What was techelet, why did its use disappear, and how was the knowledge of its identity lost? We will examine the various attempts, particularly since the late 19th century, to identify and restore techelet to our tzitzit.
