Shehecheyanu on Yom Ha’atzmaut

Shehecheyanu on Yom Ha’atzmaut

While there is much discussion about the question of reciting Hallel on Yom Ha’atzmaut, a secondary question which is often overlooked is whether the Shehecheyanu bracha should be recited on Yom Ha’atzmaut.

In this shiur Rabbi Johnny Solomon will address this question in depth, and while doing so, he will present a range of fascinating halachic viewpoints about the history, meaning and sanctity of Yom Ha’atzmaut.
