Rabbi Joseph Dweck is Senior Rabbi of the S&P Sephardi Community of the United Kingdom, the longest-standing Jewish community in the United Kingdom. He studied in Jerusalem at Yeshiva Hazon Ovadia and received his Semikha from Hakham Ovadia Yosef. For sixteen years he served as Rabbi of Congregation Shaare Shalom, a large Syrian Sephardi synagogue in New York, and for six years was Headmaster of Barkai Yeshivah in Brooklyn.
