Origins of Hate: Amalek to Haman

Origins of Hate: Amalek to Haman

‘Amalek’ was the grandson of Esav and we first encounter it as a nation during the Exodus from Egypt. It continues to have influence over major events in Jewish history down through the Purim story where Haman is considered a descendent. Join Rabbi Yehoshua Geller as he traces Amalek through the timeline and how overcoming this adversary is often connected to the future wellbeing of the Jewish People.
