Daniel Birnbaum has been involved in Yiddish language instruction at Tel Aviv University for over ten years. He is the author of the Yiddish textbook "Fun Onheyb". He holds an M.A. from Hebrew University in Comparative literature. He currently lives in Jerusalem with his family.
