As I mentioned last week. to elect ארבעת מינים requires both knowledge of the relevant texts but practical experience, that is to say being taught how to identify the various defects which may render something invalid. Therefore I implore everyone to purchase ארבעת מינים which have reliable certificates of כשרות. Alternatively , bring your ארבעת מינים to a rabbi who can check them.
