After the devastating 55-year reign of King Menashe, during which idolatry, murder and oppression ravaged the land of Judah, prophets declared that all was lost. “Thus says the Lord: I will bring evil upon this place and its inhabitants…My anger shall be kindled against this place, and it will not be extinguished.” And yet, young King Yoshiyahu refused to give up, embarking on a passionate lifelong mission to try to avert disaster.
