In previous sessions we have discussed the Thirteen Principles of the Jewish Faith which the Rambam spelled out in his commentary to the Mishnah.
In this series of three meetings we will discuss two of the thirteen principles. We will discuss the eighth principle which concerns the Divine provenance of the Torah and of the role of Moses as the prophet who delivered the Torah. We will discuss the ninth principle, which is the belief in the eternity of the Torah. I think that since we are about to celebrate the holiday Shavuot which marks the receiving of the Torah discussions regarding the Torah will be very appropriate.
I hope that these sessions will be illuminating.
