Shalom, Welcome to a new zman at Webyeshiva. Tonight we begin a deep exploration of Kingship as a preparation for Rosh HaShanah, the day we crown Hashem as our king. We will begin with some basic ideas of kingship and look first to Torah 56 of Likutei Moharan and Rabbi Nachman’s emphasis on the ‘usage’ of Kingship and how that applies to every person. And our goal will be to understand how we, as human beings made in God’s image to serve the Creator, form and refine our use of power in a world ‘not ours’, but given to us to ‘work and guard’.
