In last week’s Torah reading (פרשת ראה) Moshe Rabbeinu tells our ancestors that he will present them with blessings and curses. The actual blessings and curses will be seen in פרשת כי תבוא.
Today and next week we will discuss the the idea of blessings and curses and what lessons we are meant to learn from them.

Last week we spoke about the blessings in דברים פרק כח. Today we will speak about the words of rebuke in that chapter.
Rabbi Dr. Stuart Fischman graduated from Yeshiva University in 1980 and the dental school of Columbia University in 1985. In 1989 he began studying and teaching at Yeshivat Hamivtar and now studies and teaches at Yeshivat Machanaim in Efrat. He has rabbinic ordination from Rav Zalman Nechemia Goldberg.
