The Etrog

The Etrog
There are many stories of Jews throughout the ages searching for the perfect etrog from the various lands they were in. Join Rabbi Dovid Fink and explore the details of this special mitzvah including it’s place as one of the arbah minim (four species) and halachot on smelling an etrog, eating an etrog, and if an etrog is muktzeh on Shabbat Chol ha-Mo’ed.

The Etrog: Lesson
Class description

This evening (Monday) is our first class on Etrog.

We will be dealing with “the other halachot” of Etrog, namely its blessing (if you smell it), its status of Shabbat (muktseh), its status after Sukkot (what can you do with it).

This evening we begin with the blessing on Etrogim.

Sources are available through the link on the class page at WebYeshiva.org in both WORD and pdf format.
