The 5th Cup of Wine

The 5th Cup of Wine

How many cups of wine should be drunk on Seder night – 4 or 5? And if 5, should we be drinking the 5th cup, or is it meant for Eliyahu HaNavi? Alternatively, perhaps the 5th cup of wine represents our return to Israel? In this shiur with Rabbi Johnny Solomon we will review a wide range of sources about the 5th cup of wine and explain why some people insist on it, and why some do not.
