Mini Series: Passover – Why Bother? April 11

This class is no longer in session. To access the archives, please see below.
In just a few nights, millions of Jews around the world will gather at seder tables and recount the story of the Exodus from Egypt. But why?
From a Torah perspective, it’s an obligation. From a social perspective, it’s just something most Jews do. You get together with family and friends, drink the four cups, read the Hagadah, eat matza and have a festive meal. But getting beyond the expectations of your rabbi and your Mom, why do we really do this?
The hidden meaning of Passover offers amazing keys to the true core of spirituality in Judaism. It’s not what you think, and it’s not what you were told in Hebrew School. This is a one-hour seminar for Jews who are beginners on their spiritual quest, or are well along on their path and still maintain the “beginner’s mind.”
What’s Passover really about? Find out here. Your relationship to Judaism (and to matza!) will never be the same!
