Kabbalah & King David
Did King David learn Kabbalah? If so, who was his teacher? What teachings did he learn? Were they all theoretical teachings, or practical as well? Join Rabbi Avraham Shira and explore these questions, in an attempt to expand our knowledge of the greatest of kings, and perhaps some of the profound secrets that made him not only the primary author of Tehilim, but also a fearsome warrior, leader and diplomat.

Shalom and Welcome to a New Zman at Webyeshiva.
Tommorow, Thursday 8pm Israel time, we will attempt to enter the private world of King David and his Master, Shmuel HaNavi, through the lens of Kabbalah, Prophecy and the Tanach. Many deep surprises are found beneath the text of our commentators. This week we will begin with the help of the Alsheich, Midrash Shmuel and the Arizal. Hopefully, as is our custom, we will meditate on the ideas we have learned, and with Hashem’s help the ideas will be more deeply integrated into our memory and perception.
Look forward to seeing you there.

Kabbalah & King David: Kabbalah & King David
Welcome to our series on Kabbalah and King David. Tonight we will explore the Sages teachings of how King David merited to become part of the Throne of Glory, and the Chariot of the Sefira of Kingship. Naturally the back story from the Tanach provides us the setting for this amazing moment in the career of this great man and his relationship to God. We will, with heaven’s help, discuss also what it means to reach such a level and why it is important for us to understand the depth of these matters, to build our faith in God, the perfection of Creation and the Righteous who came before and those of today and tommorow.
Look forward to seeing you there,
Avraham Shira

Shalom and Welcome. Tomorrow night on WebYeshiva.org, 8pm Israel, we complete our series on Kabbalah and King David, exploring the idea of Kingship from many different angles in Kabbalah: why does the King enter a gathering last? why does he need a haircut every day? And ultimately important, how does one receive the power of life and death, and continue pursuing humility and giving to others.
Look forward to seeing all of you there.
