Agriculture & the Omer
The period of the Omer runs from Pesach through Shavuot. It starts in the spring and ends as the heat of summer sets in. Before it was ever associated with mourning, the days that filled these seven weeks were more agriculturally focused. Join Ilana Goldstein Saks as she explores what the days from Pesach to Shavuot mean in terms of the relationship between Israel and the land.
